Where are you this holiday season?
Benny and I are resetting (and clothing) after this week’s miniature SoCal tour with “undie-rockers” The Skivvies in Palm Springs and Laguna Beach. Aside from the obligatory Christmas and Chanuka gigs, from here on out we prepare arduously at home for two pinch-me incredible shows in February. I’m itching to announce j-b’s upcoming collaboration with LA PHIL (!!!), but I must restrain 'til January.
So for now in 2020 we focus on And On the 366th Day, jackbenny’s sophomore spectacular at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex Saturday, February 29, 8pm. Last year’s It’s National See-a-Show Day! captivated the over-sold Intimate—management was hurriedly adding rows of seating before house opened—and we anticipate equal enthusiasm this Leap Day. And I just calculated that more than half our planned program features *new* numbers never-before-heard in LA!
Remember, reserve now through January 15, and at random one lucky patron will win a dinner on Benny and I and, based on our table talk, an entirely new song for them that we’ll debut at the performance. Plus an autograph of the sheet music. Visit luckmanarts.org, call (323) 343-6600, or journey to the box office (5151 State University Dr, Los Angeles) where you can waive all impertinent fees and selfie with the larger-than-life banner of us shimmering atop the pavilion.
The Lipson Vision Group wishes you a happy new year; may we all see clearly in 2020. Also plotting another New York venture in March—this time a double-feature. Stay tuned!
Love,
Jack
